Sencha Saemidori is produced from a cross between Yabukita and Asatsuyu cultivars. Saemidori cultivar is renowned for its balanced sweet and umami flavours. This Sencha has been shaded for 11 days prior to being harvested to enhance its rich mouthfeel. Its brew is a bright and clear green liquor offering crisp spring steamed vegetal notes with rich umami and light sweet notes.
