Moonlight White tea grows in the mountainous region of YangTa, in Yunnan province, China, where the tea plantations are surrounded by dense forests. The tea cakes are made from the fine spring pickings of a bud and two leaves.
The primary flavours are of early morning spring dry grass and rich woody notes with sweet honey mead tones followed by stewed fruit flavours. The texture is smooth with a presence of mild astringency in the finish. Moonlight White tea is an excellent tea to drink now and can also be matured and aged as years go by.
